CONDITIONS, DATES AND PREMIUMS
Renewal of policy
Premium 500 insurance contract is annual, this annuity computed from the date of entry into the contract. At maturity, It will be automatically extended for successive periods of an annuity unless you specify otherwise, this has to be notified one month in advance by the policy holder.
Waiting Periods
Outpatient surgery: 3 months
High technology tests : 6 months
Psychology: 6 months
Birth or C section: 8 months
Hospitalization and surgery: 10 months
Sterilization and vasectomy: 10 months
Reimbursement waiting same as above.
Discounts and premiums:
The premium payment may be done monthly, quarterly, six monthly or yearly, through direct debit from the current account held by the policyholder, expressly stated in the insurance application.
Additional discounts are available according to your premium 500 payment options:
- For a one-off annual payment: 4% discount
- For bi-annual payment: 2% discount
- For more that 4 insured per policy 5% discount
Annual Renewals
At each annual renewal of the Sanitas policy may modify the premium applicable to the following annuity, according to technical actuarial calculations based on the health and IPC, the frequency in the use of guaranteed benefits including medical and technological innovations or new insured coverage.
The premium applicable to the following annuity will be notified in writing by the policyholder Sanitas with at least two months prior to the renewal date.
Premiums payable by the policyholder, will vary depending on the age reached by each of the insured, the place of supply of services in the geographical area, at the rates set by Sanitas on the renewal date of each policy.
Surcharges
When only one person is applying for this policy an 8% surcharge will be applied to the premium.
Age Limits
The maximum contractual age is 64 years. Once the contract is in place, there is no upper age limit for the policy to remain in force.
